Must pull call once a month.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We're seeking a Lead Technician with a whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the community remains in compliance with both internal company standards and applicable laws. As a Service Manager, you'll provide hands-on trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, tiling, masonry and appliances.WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
  • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and managing a successful service team
  • Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
  • Assist in ensuring all Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are upheld at all times
  • Monitor daily activities of service team to ensure product and service quality
  • Maintain accurate logs of, and schedules for, all maintenance work and materials
  • Perform daily checks of overall community appearance
  • Perform service technician responsibilities as necessary
  • Schedule, conduct and document regular meetings with service team members
  • Schedule and manage appropriate contracts
  • Provide high levels of service to all customers and team members
  • Aid in preparation of annual budget and community plans
  • Respond in emergency situations, as needed
  • Stay abreast of industry trends
  • Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture
  • Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

  • Experience with Yardi software products a plus
