- Leading project development activities such as securing land and grid connection rights, obtaining necessary permits and authorizations, and garnering stakeholder support.- Implementing efficient development processes, adhering to budgets and timelines, and designing and refining development methodologies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders, including government authorities, project partners, landowners, and communities- Conducting site identification and selection research for new large-scale renewable energy projects, appointing and managing consultants for technical and environmental studies, and overseeing application processes for permits, licenses, and approvals-Develop risk mitigation strategies and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills in addressing challenges that arise during the development phase.EducationUniversity Degree in a Business, Finance or Engineering discipline or a related subject.Requirements- Experience in developing wind and solar PV farms, with proven ability to deliver project pipeline
- Ability to create and maintain project development budgets and timelines in project management software
- Sound understanding of permitting requirements and land considerations in the Philippines
- 8-15 years project development management experience
- Up to date knowledge of market trends and the emerging renewable energy sector
- An excellent network among government institutions and renewable energy companies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Contract negotiation skills
- Able to travel nationally as required
