Jim Barnard Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and professional Automotive Sales Associate to join our team in Churchville, New York. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. As an Automotive Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with top-selling brands and provide excellent customer service while earning competitive base pay with commission opportunities.Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary plus commission opportunities based on sales performance, expected total income range from $50,000 to $90.000 per year. Employees also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, building and maintaining relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles from our inventory
- Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits to customers
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services offered by Jim Barnard Chevrolet
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate and organized customer and vehicle records
- Attend sales trainings and meetings to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge
- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Must be able to obtain a valid driver's license
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Knowledge of vehicle features, options, and pricing
- Ability to learn and utilize dealership CRM software
