Junior - Medior Sales Engineer

• You will provide technical support to the Sales Managers (all regions) during the pre-sales process
• You will create system designs and related quotations in 3D
• You will create customer-tailored solutions and system designs for the waste problem
• Together with the Sales Managers, you will make a complete and detailed elaboration in the form of set-up drawings, flow diagrams, mass balance and quotations.
• You will be responsible for the technical design (3D drawing) and calculation the correct cost price.
• You will have direct contact with customers (onsite and offline)
• You will need to visit customers from time to time (20% field work and 80% making quotations)
• You will make order confirmations for the project management and engineering department, meaning: You will work closely with the project management and engineering team.
• You will keep an eye on developments in the market and alert the Sales Managers about new, creative and profitable solutions

• Excellent proficiency of the English language both verbally and in writing. German language is a plus
• Vocational / Higher education (technical) working and thinking level;
• You are commercial minded (and driven);
• Mastery of 3D drawing (Previous use of Inventor is an advantage);
• Preferably experience in a similar technical (commercial) position;
• You are above all proactive, hands-on, independent, enthusiastic, customer- and solution oriented, result-oriented, stress-resistant, flexible, accurate, and a team player;
• Knowledge of SOFON is a plus but not necessary;
• Willing to learn and interested in the technical / machinery working field
• Strong interest working in the sustainable, waste sorting and recycling industry
• You live in Groningen region
• No 9-5 mentality, willing to give an extra mile
