This is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, Wisconsin office for 4-8 days per month, and the rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

We are driven by our mission to promote regional farm diversity and economic stability by the means of organic agricultural methods and the sale of certified organic products.Summary of RoleAs the senior finance leader assigned to the Revenue Team (Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience), this role is part of the respective Leadership Teams and generally functions as an integral and critical part of CROPP's Revenue functions and activities.The Director Sales Finance will partner with leadership to drive the performance of the business by providing input on business-critical decisions. This position will play a key role in creating strategies that grow Sales and Profit by: Customer, Product, Market Segment and Geography. The Director of Sales Finance is responsible for assessing and improving the financial performance of the Cooperative by driving Sales and profit financial strategy, analysis, and planning, which includes directing and supervising the efficient operations of all Commercial FP&A as necessary; including but not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and financial analysis. This position will oversee the presentation of insightful operational analysis and reporting of key performance metrics of on-going Commercial results and take a leadership role to drive top and bottom line growth. This position will interface cross-functionally and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges, not exclusively related to Sales and Marketing.This role will report directly to the VP of FP&A and will work closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Executive VP of Sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilitieso Collaborate with leadership to lead and define customer strategies and objectives that align with our overall business direction, quantify the value of opportunities, and ultimately assess progress against goals.o Drive and influence customer bids in partnership with sales teams, expanding sales finance participation in large or complex bid reviews.o Understand the story behind the numbers and translate this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts which align with underlying business and market insights.o Identify and utilize the right data to help sales leaders see around corners and continue to grow the business with minimal disruption.o Collaborate with the pricing group to provide economic and financial analysis to support pricing strategies.o Provide timely and accurate analytics to support actionable and strategic business decisions.o Collaborate with the Nutrition sub-segment finance leads to analyze volume, price, and mix through period close reporting, quarter close reporting and annual operating plans.o Clearly identify opportunities for improvement and highlight key risks and mitigation opportunities.o Assist in developing presentations and business review materials that highlight performance, bring clarity to key issues and support recommendations.o Maintain a credible, proactive, responsive, and service focused relationship with business leaders, Cooperative partners, and other market leaders.o Provide leadership and guidance while managing expectations and providing adequate training, career progression and succession planning.o Responsible for the validation, integrity and in-depth comprehension of all financial reporting including Dairy, Non-Dairy and Subsidiaries.o Key support for development and implementation of the Annual Operating Plan - align AOP principles with Business Unit, Revenue Management, BBP teams and own process development for BU Cascade to Sales, manage Sales Check Point templates for Sales internal AOP meetingso Work with Revenue Management group on developing annual Trade Control routines and KPIs for total US Sales Organizationo Continuous improvement in routines and processes through collaboration with Area Finance leads and feedback from cross-functional groupso Ad hoc financial analysis required by Senior leadershipo Provide input on CROPP data storage and retrieval and creation of all reporting environments as to maintain data integrity for all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting related to the Revenue Team.o Coordination with the COOP Controller and Accounting Group in the preparation of financial period close activities, journal entries and variance analysis.o Responsible for resource assessments, including recruitment, performance management, and development of talent to achieve organization objectives.Additional Duties and Responsibilitieso Participate in cross department executive committees and other Cooperative initiatives as the financial information expert.o Participate in other special projects, committees and cross teams as needed.o Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.o 10+ years of progressive finance experience required.o Minimum 7-8 years managing & leadership experience.o Strong analytical abilities, financial acumen.o Exceptional communication skills with ability to deliver executive-level presentations.o Ability to influence cross-functional team members.o Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills.o Must have demonstrated ability in PowerPoint presentations and graphing/charting.o Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.o Team player who manages collaboratively with the ability to influence management, in some cases without authority.o Prior experience supporting a CPG Sales organization preferred.o Ability to effectively manage, adapt and promote change.Base salary range: $144,000 - $196,680
This salary range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary range and hiring at the maximum of the salary range is not typical.Benefits
