- Responsible for timely, accurate, and compliantly processing payroll.
- Responsible for daily pay of subcontractors.
- Responsible for maintaining payroll processing reporting.
- Processes employee Time & Attendance data to payroll and reconcile variances. Approve and release time in the time system.
- Is the payroll expert, and provides training as needed to ensure compliance and full utilization of tools.
- Process daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly bonuses.
- Accurate reporting of time and bonus in operating system
- Process commissions and commission reconciliation.
- Develops in-depth understanding of payroll software. Create reports on demand.
- Responsible for month-end duties including approving payroll and benefit related invoices and ensuring timely payment, submitting payroll accrual and general ledger reconciliation.
- Maintains vendor contact for payroll.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Generate and maintain payroll reports for record-keeping and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and update payroll procedures accordingly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information and other proprietary details.
- Understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of payroll administration.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Keen ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Paylocity, a plus.
- 3-5 years of Payroll experience
