Job Description:Part time 36-40 hours/ Pay Period Day Shift- Adult Day Services Assistant positionSummary:POSITION SUMMARYThe Day Services Assistant is responsible for providing individualized programming to meet the needs of all the
participants, assisting them to achieve the highest level of functioning possible.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the

Flexibility in completing assignments and duties. Ability to take direction and establish effective working relationships with Day Service staff.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, regulations, policies and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and charting. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Knowledge of assessment skills.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.REASONING ABILTIY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
