- Scouts proposed venues for the media installations and assess the compatibility and requirements of the art pieces.
- Attends all in-person planning site visits for Cinema Reset programming.
- Coordinates all artists' needs for the installation execution and translates them to the NOFF’s team.
- Works alongside the programming department to collect art installation descriptions and assets from artists—and communicates these details to other NOFF teams for publications, signage, website, and other outlets.
- Is responsible for coordinating supplies and equipment rental related to the media installations and ensures all items are properly inventoried before and after the event.
- Oversees the setup and breakdown of all installations in collaboration with artists.
- Responsible for the technical integrity of media installations.
- Oversees the revision of the content and ensures the highest standard of all presentations.
- Aligns the work with the whole Festival production schedule and adheres to all deadlines.
- Coordinates and facilitates if needed additional programming in the form of workshops, artist talks, or panels related to the Cinema Reset program.
- Alignment to the organization’s stated mission and values.
- Previous experience with either art/museum/media installations or film/art festivals.
- Expertise in all-around technical needs for events execution, like A/V, sound, lighting, and equipment inventory management.
- Comfort with public speaking or moderating live events.
- High level of comfort working large live events, handling pressure, and understanding deadline-driven environments.
- Great organization, planning, and productivity skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends during scheduled festivals and events.
- Ability to stand and move for prolonged hours during events and lift, carry, and load items of up to 40 lbs.
- Posses a form of transportation to move easily and quickly between venues across New Orleans.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, drive, sense of urgency & ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
