- Facilitates the finished goods pick/pack/ship process and maintain customer order turnaround standards.
- Provides carrier routings for customer orders, when required, to meet customer delivery requirements at the lowest possible transportation cost.
- Coordinates the placement and removal of finished goods Hold, Quarantine or Stop Sale actions with Quality Assurance.
- Performs administrative duties including, but not limited to tracing, expediting customer orders, stock adjustments, stock transfers, carrier scheduling, and supply ordering.
- Performs all duties relating to finished goods inventory cycle counts, including: (1) coordinating physical counts and recounts, (2) reporting and documenting discrepancies, including research activities to determine the reason for the discrepancy, (3) securing necessary management approvals for adjustments, (4) completing adjustments to the official inventory system with the correct inventory transaction and reason codes.
- In conjunction with Demand Management, assists in monitoring exceptions to inventory levels at the LC, including service items, free goods, and samples.
- Maintains the computer warehouse management/order processing system, including testing, validation, certain database management duties, and required documentation.
- Coordinates order changes such as cancellations, expedited shipments, etc., with Customer Service.
- Performs all finished goods inventory movement/relocation transactions in the computer system, to assure the accuracy of all finished goods locations.
- Maintains bar code systems, including bar code rack labels, picking and directed storage applications, and small parcel ground tracking label systems.
- Uses Transportation Management System (TMS) daily to route/change/manage orders.
- Serves as a back-up for responsibilities held by Site Leader or Lead Operators during absences.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate degree or some college preferred.
- Previous experience in distribution/warehousing including computerized inventory control systems, pick/pack operations, receiving, freight rating systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as in Warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely.
- High degree of motivation; self-starter.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills; works well with people.
- Good analytical ability and mathematical skills.
- Order processing and order entry experience.
- Personal computer experience.
- Excellent attendance record (including late arrivals/early departures).
