Managed Marketing SpecialistLevel: SalariedLocation: Fort WayneReports to: Sales & Service ManagerTravel: Up to 30 - 40% of schedule is expected. Travel includes member visits, markets and conferences.The Managed Marketing Specialist helps our members grow their retail sales by assisting them in designing and implementing a consumer-focused marketing program designed to increase store traffic, top line sales and profitability. This position will work with our members, corporate staff and vendors who assist us in creating and distributing marketing materials, including print, digital and website presence and promotional in-store elements. Consumer data and POS data will be used by Managed Marketing Specialists to develop these plans, so an aptitude and enthusiasm for data-driven approach will be important.This position serves as the primary point of contact between 8 - 15 specific members and the Do it Best Corp. Marketing Division to coordinate timely and efficient consumer marketing for these members owners.Responsibilities:
Essential
  • Consult with members and SBD Managers about our Consumer Marketing program.
  • Full knowledge of Do it Best marketing programs including (but not limited to) OASIS, CMC, Targit, ADpakSM, Ecommerce, Best Rewards, and the Digital Dashboard.
  • Execute branding workshops at member locations prior to starting a managed marketing program.
  • Create a yearly marketing budget and promotional plan with each member based on their customer and POS data.
  • Execute the plan in relation to managed marketing services.
  • Manage members' Google Business Listings.
  • Develop a strategy for using the Best Rewards Program effectively in store as well as the customer data to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Design & Create custom circulars based on planned marketing.
  • Plan, order, and optimize distribution for ADpak components based on planned marketing.
  • Manage retail marketing suite for members.
  • Schedule Digital Dashboard campaigns based on planned marketing.
  • Consult with members on website content.
  • Partner with members to manage Facebook pages.
  • Recommend and promote in-store events.
  • Consult on local promotions and media outlets.
  • Recommend promotional merchandise order of products and quantities for members to place the final order.
  • Report performance of all promotions using Power Bi tool.
  • Special projects as assigned by the Consumer Marketing Manager
Education & Experience Requirements:
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent experience
  • Consumer marketing or related experience
  • Proven track record of working with independent business owners in developing marketing budgets and plans.
  • Consumer-focused marketing experience with printed material, digital advertising basic website design, email, social media and loyalty programs.
  • Proficient in Google (Microsoft Office) Suite
Desired
  • Worked with business owners in the hardware, home center, or lumber industry to execute marketing plans.
