- Aggregation of datasets collected at multiple spatial and temporal scales
- Production of weekly reports on water quality and cyanobacteria based on data collection made by the group
- Develop data treatment pipelines and automatic generation of graphs
- Apply machine learning and Bayesian network modelling tools in close collaboration with project team members
- Investigate the environmental and the spatio-temporal drivers of microbial contaminants in wastewater and surface waters.
- Actively contribute to project valorisation, including publication writing and participation in international conferences
- Review content of life-long learning course material on water surveillance and wastewater-based epidemiology
- PhD in biological/environmental data analytics or equivalent
- Advanced skills in environmental data analytics
- Advanced knowledge and skills in temporal series analysis
- Knowledge and skills in machine learning
- Knowledge and skills in Bayesian modelling
- Strong autonomy and proactive thinking
- Demonstrated publication writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary and multi-cultural work environment.
- Driving license
- Knowledge of wastewater and environmental surveillance is an asset
- Know-how on e-learning development is also an asset
- Fluent command of English, knowledge in French is an asset
