- Demonstrated skill and knowledge of database creation; database queries and data collection.

- Ability to multi-task and work with a high degree of accuracy under considerable time pressure and simultaneous deadlines.
- Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of student records management principles, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Skill in the use of computerized student information systems, especially BANNER
- Knowledge and understanding of curriculum management processes, methods, policies, and procedures.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Knowledge of law school academic and graduation requirements and eligibility requirements for bar examinations.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Employee development and performance management skills.
- Oversee registration process for law students.
- Establish semester hour limits for law students and joint degree students.
- Create and maintain master curriculum database, historical course information, enrollment data, and internal grid schedule.
- Create electronic class schedules for course registration number production.
- Register students for 5000-level courses, and joint degree program students for courses.
- Manage the exam process for in-class and take-home exams.
- Create and maintain records of class and grade rolls.
- Collect and enter grades on College and University data systems.
- Review and execute all grade changes; audits, removes, or extends incomplete grade assignments.
- Calculate rankings for 1st, 2nd and graduating students.
- Determine eligibility for Law Review and other student organizations.
- Conduct student audits to determine graduation eligibility.
- Maintain graduation requirements on PACE system for transitioning students.
- Maintain graduation requirements on DegreeWorks system.
- Provides student advisement with respect to registration and graduation logistics
- Supervises Assistant Law Registrar.
- Create and maintain Law Academic Calendar.
- Compiles statistical information for accrediting agencies, including the American Bar Association and Association of American Law Schools.
- Manage Student Bar certification process.
- Create and distributes data for national reports and publications.
- Create databases for customized reports and lists.
- Manage electronic faculty evaluations.
- Counsel students on a variety of academic, administrative and personal issues.
- Participate in University and College of Law Committee work, including attending scheduling meetings.
- Maintain and update the Law Registrar web site.
- Review, approve and input student and course information in BANNER.
- Serves as a liaison between the department or college and the University community.
- Assist the Dean and Associate Deans with special projects.
