Our medical practice prioritizes efficiency and the delivery of high-quality care.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Medical Biller role based in Long Island City, NY. The Medical Biller will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the role, including but not limited to: medical terminology, denials, ICD-10, insurance, and Medicare requirements. The candidate will be responsible for coding and billing procedures, submitting claims to insurance carriers, following up on denials, and managing patient accounts.Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding
Experience with insurance, denials, and Medicare
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience using medical billing software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A degree or certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred
