Pennybyrn has an opportunity for an Admissions Coordinator to join our innovative, inclusive, and compassionate life-enriching community! This is an exempt position, Monday thru Friday, with an on-call weekend rotation.This position functions as the Admissions Coordinator and Social Worker for our Healthcare Households, responsible for planning and developing coordination of the pre-admission, admission, social work, and follow-up processes of skilled nursing senior residents. This position's primary purpose is to ensure monitoring of incoming referrals or leads, maintain census and payer mix goals, conduct tours, maximize and maintain community relationships for referrals, perform pre-admission insurance coverages, resident communication, and approvals, and support clinical social services for residents.Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services, and at least one year of experience with Senior adult populations within long-term care or healthcare.
