- Inspect, accept, reject incoming material based on measurements and visual inspection. Work with SQA and plant QA to determine items that require inspection upon receipt.
- Collect and document required data from inspections and detected nonconformances.
- Coordinate containment of supplied materials when nonconformances are detected with the assistance of production team leads and managers.
- Review and catalog material certificates and reject/accept material by comparing documents to known standards.
- Investigate and report data surrounding supplier nonconformances including reject rates, inventory levels, testing results, containment results and investigational findings.
- High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate degree or higher, preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to write, speak and read English. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
- Understand, interpret, and apply QA tools and standards.
- Skilled use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read blueprints and dimensioning.
- Ability to read and understand material certifications and compare to known standards.
- Knowledge to investigate internal issues, external customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
