Apply today for this position at our Lindsay, NE facility.Position Summary:The Supplier Quality Assurance Technician (SQA Tech) primarily inspects supplied parts and materials as received and coordinates the control of nonconformances when detected at receipt, during the production process, or at a customer location. This position will work closely with other teams, leaders and managers of the facility, as well as the Supplier Quality Manager to communicate information to suppliers and customers when required.Essential functions:
  • Inspect, accept, reject incoming material based on measurements and visual inspection. Work with SQA and plant QA to determine items that require inspection upon receipt.
  • Collect and document required data from inspections and detected nonconformances.
  • Coordinate containment of supplied materials when nonconformances are detected with the assistance of production team leads and managers.
  • Review and catalog material certificates and reject/accept material by comparing documents to known standards.
  • Investigate and report data surrounding supplier nonconformances including reject rates, inventory levels, testing results, containment results and investigational findings.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate degree or higher, preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to write, speak and read English. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Understand, interpret, and apply QA tools and standards.
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read blueprints and dimensioning.
  • Ability to read and understand material certifications and compare to known standards.
  • Knowledge to investigate internal issues, external customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
