Key ResponsibilitiesManages the Montana based plastic and metals machining center which supports Applied Materials business units with precision partsEstablishes project schedules, timelines, and controls, while monitoring production metrics and budgets through business processes and systemsPlans and evaluates optimal resource utilization and efficiency of operation to minimize costs and allow for on-time delivery of product to customers.Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and automate processes to produce quality productsIdentifies and pursues new equipment and software technologies to improve production, cycle time, efficiency and resource utilizationProvides senior leadership, guidance, mentorship, and personal development of his/her direct reports in the areas of daily operational management, systems development, and optimization. And ensures that all direct reports are sufficiently skilled, trained, and perform their functions in efficient manner.Identifies process and quality changes designed to improve manufacturing or department capabilities.
