- Engage with King County residents at various sites within geographic King County.
- Provide information about ASD's Resource Access services to King County residents and aid them in accessing them.
- Conduct surveys, gather feedback and staff resource fairs and listening sessions.
- Identify and establish working relationships with community partners and organizations: provide outreach, including presentations and workshops to share information about King County services.
- Research additional resources to aid customers.
- Gather and track information on service needs trends.
- Serve on committees and task forces, as appropriate.
- Engage in continuous process improvement around outreach and community services.
- Encourage a knowledge-sharing culture across the organization.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Deep knowledge of equity and social justice principles and practices and understanding of the effects of place, race, policy, and system-based inequities on marginalized communities.
- Knowledge of community resources and referral systems.
- At least one year of experience working in outreach or community services programs for adults and/or families.
- Skill in working and building rapport with diverse cultural, socio-economic, and ethnic populations.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Skill in written and oral communications for various audiences and managing work across several sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License or the ability to travel throughout the county in a timely manner.
- Bilingual/Multilingual: English/Spanish, Chinese, Somali, Ukrainian, Arabic, Russian, Amharic, Vietnamese, Dari.
