Here’s what we need.
Asphalt Laborer with 2 seasons of outdoor labor experience.
- Familiar with operation of all types of asphalt paving equipment including: rollers, skid steers and milling head helpful
- Conducts manual labor
- Using hand tools as well as able to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
- Equipment cleanup and maintenance
- Organization of inventory
- Assisting in the placement, moving of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
- Performing other duties as required
- 2 years outdoor labor experience
- Attention to detail
- Able to drive and has an acceptable driving record
- Must have strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner
- Ability to lift and carry loads within limits set by OSHA regulations
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Willingness to communicate and learn basic job competencies.
- A professional sense of discipline, composure and resourcefulness
- Ability to use heavy equipment
- Complete understanding of the paving process
