Description :COMPENSATION:Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURSShifts are Sunday - Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm. 5 Days, 40 hours.Shifts are 8-hours, and are overtime eligible.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE EMT:· Accurately obtain and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure.· Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patient’s cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.· Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessment, including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.· Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.· Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.· Give medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.· Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.· Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education - High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Experience - Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
  • RADT_i, or EMT certification preferred
  • Licenses - Current Driver's License
  • Special Requirements - Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
