Project Management - Composites Purpose of the role To Develop Short-term / Long-term strategies for achieving the Business Plan though effective utilization of available resources. To monitor all the projects and maintain control for the Delivery through collaborative with all the stakeholders. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Responsible for managing the planning functions which includes releasing and prioritizing work orders and developing schedules for work centers. To releases work orders and Purchasing Requisitions in accordance with the Master Schedule and MRP to support the necessary supply to support customer demand To work closely with manufacturing to prioritize and expedite production requirements based on material availability, resources, machine capacities and changing demand signals To develop finite schedules at the work level to control production output that supports upstream operations To support and implements the policies, procedures, systems and programs required to meet organizational objectives To supports cross-functional teams related to Manufacturing, Supply chain, Quality Assurance, Marketing and Project Management Departments to balance supply and demand To perform root cause analysis and develop appropriate countermeasures for On-time Delivery, Schedule Conformance and Excess Inventory. To assess the Capacity of the work-centers and projects the requirement based on the demand To monitor, analyze and maintain key planning parameters including lead times and safety stocks. To monitor the consumption and controlling inventory of raw materials, components in order to maintain the costs at optimum levels and save costs wherever feasible. To coordinate with all the stakeholders for the effective implementation of PLM platform in Composite business function. Participate in all evaluation meetings on weekly and monthly basis. Train all subordinates of Planning team (Product Engineers) in various systems. Coordination with respective stake holders for Phase 2 implementation Develop TQM culture within the team and adhere to Kaizen scheme
