Job description:The Internet Director will be responsible for overseeing all digital efforts and online sales initiatives for three dealerships. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive sales processes, digital marketing techniques and customer relationship management systems. The right person must be highly engaged with the team members at each store and provide consistent training and development of the sales staff to meet KPI goals. The right candidate will oversee eCommerce development, training and performance for a multi-franchise group.Pay$120,000-$150,000ResponsibilitiesMonitor online inquiries and leads to ensure prompt follow up by the sales team to maximize conversion ratesUtilize CRM software to track and measure eComm performance daily. Responsible for measuring key performance indicators such as but not limited to, response rate, contact made, appointment conversion and appointment show rates.Collaborate with store management to identify areas of opportunity daily. Provide reporting on KPI’s daily to all store management and sales teamProvide consistent training/mentorship to the sales team to maximize eComm performance. Provide best practice sales techniques and CRM training. Conduct one on one training with the sales team at each store as well as group sessions to improve performanceCollaborate with the marketing team to develop and initiate digital marketing strategies that drive more online traffic to our website and increase lead generationOversee the dealerships inventory management system to ensure accurate listings and pricing on all online platformsAnalyze key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make date driven recommendations for improvement.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in automotive digital marketing and make recommendations for improving performanceQualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teamsIn depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, including lead generation, customer acquisition and sales closing techniquesProven experience in digital sales management with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a dealershipStrong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM and social mediaExperience with eLeads, VAuto, Dealertrack.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
