About the roleMater Health has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the team based at our South Brisbane campus in our Rehabilitation unit. This will see you join a multifaceted service and will be a part-time position working 32 hours a week.Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts is a requirement given this is a seven-day rehabilitation service.Salary range: $37.13 - $54.43 (HP3) per hour plus superannuation and salary packagingWhat you'll be doingAs an experienced Occupational Therapist, your expertise will be invaluable to the multidisciplinary team in the Rehabilitation Unit.You will work with Nursing staff, Visiting Medical Officers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Worker, Speech Pathologists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Dieticians and Pharmacists to ensure best patient outcomes are achieved.As an Occupational Therapist you will be experienced in providing exceptional service to adult patients and contributing to a multidisciplinary team, managing caseloads, measuring outcomes and dedication to continuous improvement. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the requirements for contributing to a safe workplace in a rehabilitation environment.About youThe successful applicant will possess:

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist (no restrictions)
Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a Rehabilitation setting
Knowledge, and skills in assessment and management of patients with reconditioning and orthopaedic conditions.
Knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions is desirable, but not essential
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional occupational therapy clinical services of a complex nature, managing caseload priorities and discharge planning
Current drivers License essential
