- Manages existing business base. Uses relationships with existing accounts to grow and retain business to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Collaborate with Sales Directors within account base to develop specific retention and growth plans for each account.
- Focuses on retaining business by ensuring a high level of client happiness. Communicates with clients regarding significant issues and directs their resolution.
- Maintains relationships with clients to retain revenue and provide proactive/reactive generation of sales leads and business development opportunities.
- Maintains awareness of market and industry trends, reviews all available collateral and develops an understanding of their competitive situation.
- Provides monthly account management and sales reports to sales and business management.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of sales experience or client management
- Experience in a client facing role (inside sales, prospecting, sales support, customer support)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage a senior level audience.
- Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) would be advantageous.
- Solid organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Goal and action orientated, with ability to work towards revenue targets within a business development environment.
- Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.
