- Provide inspection, testing, and service for wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire sprinkler systems; backflow preventers; water tanks; fire hydrants; foam-based systems; water mist systems; and fire pumps per NFPA 25 standards
- Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations
- Provide subject matter expertise to peers
- Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions
- Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed; generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to required city municipality websites
- Perform service and deficiency repairs on all fire sprinkler system types
- Complete service ticket documentation and inspection reports before leaving customer site
- Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections; assist with training
- NICET Level I Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems and/or state certification/license: State of Iowa Fire Protection System License with Automatic Sprinkler System Maintenance Inspection endorsement
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
- 3+ years of experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Experience estimating impairment, deficiencies, and service repairs
- Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- 5+ years of experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems
- NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems Level II

- The pay range for this position is $55,100 - $94,500 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
