Come work with us and let's build something great together!This is not a telework position.Military experience is a plus.S3, Inc. has an immediate need for a Purchasing/Subcontracts Analyst to join the Contracts team at out HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.Description:The Purchasing/Subcontracts Analyst will research and review specifications and documentation required to process requests estimates of service, material, equipment and production costs.Responsibilities:· Reviews requirements ensuring contract and/or subcontract legal requirements and customer specifications are included in request for quotes.· Structures purchase order terms to overall company business strategy and maintains precise records in accordance with policy and ISO requirements.· Leads ISO annual audit of purchasing records.· Conducts contract administration of routine contracts and/or subcontracts.· Creates and issues contract and/or subcontract financial program documents in accordance with company policy.· Structures contractual terms to reflect company business strategy.· Initiates internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.· Monitors company performance on contract/subcontract obligations.Qualifications:· Must have 3 or more years of DoD Purchasing and/or Contracts/Subcontracts administration experience with at least 1 year of purchasing experience.· Must have recent purchasing and subcontract experience and able to demonstrate the ability to support DoD purchasing and/or contracts activities in high paced industry environments.· Must have experience with Deltek CostPoint and be knowledgeable in using SharePoint.· Must have experience working with Federal Contractor Vendors.· Must have experience issuing purchase orders in support of U.S. Government contracts and corporate day-to-day operations and utilizing generally accepted purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures.· Must have experience and good sound judgment to set and manage priorities, and, develop plans and accomplish goals with minimal supervision.· Experience with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) compliance is a plus· Duties may require performance beyond normal business hours and travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.Systems Studies and Simulation, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
