- This position reports directly to the contract Program Manager.
- The duty location is Crestview, FL.
- Training is normally conducted from Monday-Friday.
- Weather cancellations may alter that schedule.
- The job requires the presentation of a neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to demonstrate aircraft skills and expertise to meet all technical support requirements with professionalism.
- Cessna 208 Mission Instructor Pilot must have prior military U-28 or PC-12, Cessna 208, P-3, King Air/T-44, T-34/T-6 or equivalent experience (focused experience in the C-208 aircraft is preferred).
- Must have either been a military or civilian instructor pilot within the past 10 years.
- Must have 1,000 hours of experience in turbine aircraft and 10 years' minimum military flight experience.
- Must be FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) required.
- It is highly desirable that the contractor have a working understanding of special mission tasks in the following areas:
- Strike Operations, Video Downlink (VDL)
- Tactical Communications
- Static and Dynamic ISR
- Joint Operations
- Tactical Departures and Approaches
- Low-Level and Very Low-Level Operations
- Substandard Field/Engine Running On and Offload (ERO)
- Short-field landings and takeoffs
- NVG experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience).
