Determines if products meet specified quality standards. Identify and reject nonconforming products and perform troubleshooting to determine the root cause(s) of failure. Reprogram equipment to factory settings or specified customer parameters, and install the latest firmware updates. Analyze and inspect refrigeration and heating systems to verify that finished equipment is in safe, working condition. Use lean manufacturing tools and techniques to identify issues, implement solutions/improvements, and optimize production efficiency. Adheres to standardized methods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Test refrigerated and hot beverage products, post-assembly.
  • Adjust user parameters, install firmware updates, and verify programming.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot refrigeration and heating systems to verify proper and safe functionality.
  • Analyze failure modes to report nonconforming products.
  • Inspect quality of work from upstream process.
  • Adhere to quality standards, follow work instructions and product specifications.
  • Set up and adjust equipment as necessary.
  • Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition to ensure own safety and the safety of others
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies
  • High school diploma or general education degree preferred or minimum of 3 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to add or subtract whole numbers.
  • Ability to use small hand and power tools.
  • Ability to use fixed gauges, reading instruments, multimeters, and similar devices required.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to basic routing instructions or work orders.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams containing microcontrollers, various relays, and other integrated circuitry.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and the components within them.
Working Conditions: Work is performed largely in a manufacturing environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week but may vary according to special projects, deadlines, or other concerns. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and a variety of postures (bending, stooping, etc.) when handling product while training or investigating technical issues.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
