- Communicate effectively and confidently with customers to make their financial lives better
- Engage with customers - begin a conversation, anticipate possible questions, actively share information, build rapport, and handle objections
- Learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- High school diploma or GED
- Have 1+ years of customer service experience, including experience handling potentially difficult customer situations
- Strong computer navigational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional listening/comprehension skills
- Professional and courteous
- Customer oriented
- Regular work performed in a climate-controlled, call-center environment
- Ongoing usage of phone and computer systems
