Here at R. Joe Harris & Associates, We are looking for an experienced Crew Chief to lead a field survey team and ensure accurate and efficient data collection for our projects.Job Responsibilities:Supervise and direct field survey crews on a variety of projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA, construction staking, and as-built surveys.Operate and maintain survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.Ensure the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of fieldwork and data collection.Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.Interpret and execute survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions.Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Train and mentor survey crew members.Perform site reconnaissance and establish control points.Record and document field notes and reports.Qualifications & Requirements:✔ 3+ years of field surveying experience, with at least 1 year as a Crew Chief.
✔ Proficiency with Topcon survey equipment.
✔ Strong understanding of surveying principles, GPS, and total station operation.
✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering and survey plans.
✔ Strong leadership and communication skills.
✔ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
✔ Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.What We Offer:✅ Competitive and weekly pay!
