Your role as Junior Researcher DFIRThe Security Research Team focuses on identifying, investigating, and developing solutions for security problems for which current best practices are not sufficient. Our work is focused on improving the maturity and capabilities of various services and products that Fox-IT and NCC Group deliver. We aim to share our research as widely as appropriate to educate fellow colleagues and stimulate external publicity and industry interest. In this important role you will:· Research and create new capabilities for Fox-IT/NCC Group services, products, or teams;· Bridge the gap between the Security Research team and our Security Operations Center;· Improve our Network Detection logic using continuous coverage & integration testing;· Write signatures and improve upon our in-house internet scanning framework;· Write detection logic for our detection platforms;· Provide internal knowledge sharing (blog posts, tech-talks, workshops).Fox-ITWe are Fox-IT, or Fox.
