As the Senior Manager of Training for Chromebook and Google TV, you'll lead a team to exceed training expectations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, design learning solutions, and ensure project success through effective communication and project management. What will you do?
  • Meet with stakeholders to capture project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Manage a team across multiple initiatives to ensure training needs exceed expectations.
  • Conduct needs analysis, design scalable learning solutions, and training strategies.
  • Work with training team to identify learning and performance objectives and measure results.
  • Develop and enhance knowledge-based content.
  • Act as the key point of contact for new projects and initiatives, conducting project assessments and identifying stakeholders, systems, tools, timelines, resources, and risks.
  • Design educational programs that include outlines, text, handouts, tests, and presentations.
  • Ensure performance and analyze progress and risks.
  • Communicate project direction, approach, priorities, events, and status.
  • Continuously improve/customize existing programs and courses.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and key players to drive the team to success, focusing on scope, budget, and timeline on medium to large size projects.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs to propose appropriate solutions.
  • Work with executive and team leadership to strategically research and develop profitable services for client needs and growth programs.
  • Leverage change management, risk management, and resource management methodologies and practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports (project charters, work breakdown structures, etc.).
  • Coordinate, manage, and plan with cross-functional teams/departments to ensure project success.
  • Maintain regular stakeholder communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Establish critical paths, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze project control documents (such as plans and budgets) to determine common project performance metrics.
  • Manage project plan integration and coordination as necessary to adhere to agreed-upon timelines and deliverables schedules for individual projects.
  • Adapt to changes in business needs and act as a lead facilitator when needed.

  • Have excellent problem-solving ability.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Strong project management skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project simultaneously.
  • CAPM or PMP certification is helpful but not required.
