Job Description:Seize an opportunity to join the Liquidity and Account Solutions (LA&S) team, a dynamic business within JP Morgan Payments. Liquidity and Account Solutions plays a key role in providing everyday cash management solutions for our Corporate and Investment Bank clients. These unique solutions include but are not limited to: demand deposit accounts, liquidity managed deposits, escrow services, and investment sweep products designed to maximize returns on client's excess cash while helping to fund daily operations. This is an exciting time to be working in JPM Payments, with our ongoing evolution and growth driving the business on a path to becoming the top payments provider in the world.As the Payments Product Control - Liquidity, Vice President in the Liquidity and Account Solutions team you will be responsible for oversight of financial statement and management reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting policies including new business initiatives and product review, business performance control, business analytics and expense management. You must be highly motivated to support the LA&S business as they look to evolve the way financials are consumed and evaluated. You will play a key role in designing reporting for a wide array of senior stakeholders with global consistency in mind.Job responsibilities
  • Producing, preparing and reporting of the daily P&L and Risk
  • Providing detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partnering with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
  • Driving coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Serving as an analytical and project support resource for product control
  • Handling various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
  • Managing projects and initiatives related to all of the above, as well as larger cross-business programs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 6+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Strong technical skills in using Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Solid understanding of financial products would be advantageous
  • Previous P&L or risk experience is preferable
