- Set-up Hermle, Matsuura and Mikron 5 axis machines capable of multiple jobs running together, prove out programs, program trouble shooting and debugging.
- Operates and control process on all products produced on all machine shop equipment for high mix low volume dynamic.
- Responsible for executing production plan according to manufacturing schedule and work instructions.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to manufacturing and automation process.
- Responsible for controlling quality of product according to Inspection Plan and maintaining quality records.
- Maintains and performs daily preventive machine maintenance and supplies all machine related needs.
- Trouble shoot and solve minor to complex problems and issues. Conduct major root cause analysis.
- Establish pallet quantities required for each job for best automation output.
- 10 to 20 years’ experience with CNC Mills and Manual equipment, 5 axis experience would be a plus (+)
- Experience with Grinders, Lathes, EDM and WaterJet would be a plus (+)
- Advanced understanding of G.D. & T. (Knows how to measure using proper measuring instruments.)
- Can arrive at sound conclusions by identifying the significant from the less significant.
- Able to read & understand blueprints, customer drawings, SOP’s, W I’s and all technical info in English
- Should be able to troubleshoot program problems related to CAM, PostP, Programmer, & Machine.
- Sound knowledge of advanced machine capabilities i.e. spindle probes and table lasers.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
- Flexible and able to provide solutions to our unique advanced challenges.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
- Able to speak, read & write in English, Bilingual is a plus (+)
- Able to communicate well in both verbal and written communications.
- Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow up.
- Dependable and resourceful with strong commitment to their work.
- Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Quick learner, open to adapt to new tasks and process.
- Able to make complex modifications to sensitive assemblies and components.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and provide solutions and hands on approach to solving problems fast.
