Become a volunteer at the activity, Spilopperne Sønderborg, and make a difference for children and young people at the local shelter through play and fun activities.The Youth Red Cross' activity - Spilopperne SønderborgThe purpose of the activity is to give children living at Sønderborg's Women's Crisis Center good experiences and a feeling of a "normal" everyday life. At Spilopperne in Sønderborg, the volunteers help spread smiles and joy through plays and fun activities. Together with the children and young people (aged 2 to 17), the volunteer group decides which activities they will do. The activity can be anything from playing on the center's playground, feeding ducks by the river, drawing and playing games. It is up to the volunteers themselves what to do - you're only limited by your imagination.Become a volunteer in Spilopperne SønderborgAs a volunteer in Spilopperne in Sønderborg, you help create bright memories for the children which means that the difficult times at the center will be a little easier to overcome. You will become part of a committed team of volunteers, where you through cozy and fun activities will create the framework for an appreciative and social togetherness. As a volunteer, in collaboration with the staff at the Crisis Center, there will be a great opportunity to have a say in what activities you can do in Spilopperne.What do we expect from you?

That you can volunteer twice a month and that you are at least 18 years old.
That you have a desire to engage with the children when you are at Spilopperne.
That you are creative and for example like to do creative activities, play games and much more.
That you want to get involved in the volunteer community, participate in social events, as well as participate in status meetings in the volunteer group and with the crisis center.
That you can commit to the project for a minimum of six months and preferably longer.
That you speak Danish at least on beginner's level.

What can you expect?

You will be part of a project that gives children and young people a free space and meaningful experiences in a young-to-young community.
You gain insight into children's and young people's everyday life at a Crisis Center.
You will be part of a committed volunteer group.
You will be part of Denmark's largest humanitarian youth organization, where you have the opportunity to form networks and participate in relevant courses and events.
