Job Summary:
Join us as a Pre-Construction Engineer where you’ll spearhead the administrative and planning phases of our projects. You will be pivotal in crafting detailed proposals, managing pre-construction activities, and ensuring that every project starts on solid ground. We're looking for a visionary – someone with the potential to lead and redefine our Estimates Department. Dive into a role where your skills will influence project successes and shape your path towards leadership.Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing project plans and proposals.
  • Manage all pre-construction documents and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and team members to gather project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project estimates and budgets, ensuring they are comprehensive and competitive.
  • Compose and organize detailed construction proposals for bids, ensuring they are technically accurate, financially competitive, and compelling to prospective clients.
  • Lead the drafting and organization of project proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and appeal to clients.
  • Implement and manage project management tools and software to track project timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct site evaluations to gather information necessary for risk assessment and project planning.
  • Continuously improve processes within the department by implementing new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in construction planning, design management, or project estimation.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD software and estimation software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client and team relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a sharp eye for detail that ensures precise project estimations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Motivated self-starter who is passionate about growth and learning in the field of construction estimates.
