Admin/Data Coordinator, Dual Credit Center

- Develops and maintains specialized databases and systems for recording and tracking Dual Credit/Enrollment student progress including post-high school graduation education/career information
- Ensures that project communications are conducted in a timely manner and consistently
- Maintains organized project records and documentation in accordance with all project goals and objectives
- Communicates constantly with Dual Credit Center Director and Project Director to ensure that required data is collected and submitted in a timely manner for reporting purposes.
- Assists in providing information and answering questions regarding Dual Credit enrollment for students, parents, high schools staff, college faculty and staff, and the general public in Northern New Mexico College’s service area.
- Assists Dual Credit Center staff with the registration process.
- Maintains confidential student files and assists with dissemination of transcripts to high schools.
- Works closely with Dual Credit Center staff, Advisement and Registrar in order to assist with the tracking of Dual Credit enrollment information, reconcile any discrepancies and alert students who may be failing at midterm through the Early Alert System.
- Assists the Dual Credit Center staff with web page maintenance, as needed, to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
- Assists with maintenance and distribution of the dual credit center calendar of important dates and deadlines as needed.
- Performs other additional administrative office duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree
- 2 years of professional experience working in higher education.
- Bachelor’s or higher preferred.
- Experience working with Ellucian Banner Student Module and/or Workday;
- Knowledge of State of New Mexico Dual Credit Statute;
- Knowledge of the policies, curricula and academic structure of the College.
- Ability to determine informational needs, to collect and analyze data, and to devise and develop reports.
- Knowledge and expertise with FERPA.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Strong database and records management skills.
- Strong client relations skills.
- Strong student advisement and support skills.
- Critical computer skills and knowledge and attention to detail for management of data input and data integrity.
- Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of a computer;
- Must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds;
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time
