Our client, a multidisciplinary engineering company based in Centurion, who is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge hardware and software-based security solutions in the ICT industry, is looking for dynamic and skilled Software Developers to join their innovative team. They pride themselves on developing secure networking encryptors, secure mobile communications, and cryptographic modules for both local and international clients. Their in-house team of talented engineers and computer scientists works collaboratively to design custom PCBs, server platforms, and software applications on their specially crafted operating system.Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software applications for secure networking encryptors, mobile communications, and cryptographic modules.
Work on the trusted operating system, ensuring its integrity and security.
Collaborate with a diverse team to design custom PCBs and server platforms.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (BEng Comp).
3-5 years of experience in software development.
Proficient in C and C++ development (minimum of 1-2 years in a production environment).
Strong understanding of networking and network security.
Systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
Adherence to and contribution to good programming standards and principles.
Familiarity with UML.

Desirable Requirements:

Development experience in UNIX, QT applications.
Experience with source control (Git) and product release cycle management (e.g., Jira).
Understanding of cryptography and cryptographic principles (application).
Knowledge of VPN/IPsec.
