About the role:As a Mexico Carrier Sales Representative for TQL, you will be a pivotal member of one of our newest divisions. You’ll be responsible for establishing and developing new carrier relationships for our Mexico and cross-border sales team. You’ll also assist with evaluating and improving existing relationships and utilization of our carrier network to support our customers’ transportation needs.POSITION IS LOCATED IN SAN ANTONIO, TX - PAID RELOCATION PROVIDEDWhat’s in it for you:

What you’ll be doing:
  • Sourcing and qualifying new cross-border Mexico carriers
  • Developing and analyzing KPIs to evaluate performance of existing carriers and communicating findings and recommendations for improvements to internal stakeholders
  • Working with our operations team to maintain and improve service levels and implement new carrier initiatives
  • Handling carrier disputes, accounting needs, and freight claims as needed
  • Researching market trends to recommend process efficiencies that improve internal and external customer relationships
  • Maintaining regular touchpoints with carriers to ensure service levels are meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Monitoring capacity for our customers, addressing any issues, and notifying stakeholders of industry changes
What you’ll need:
  • 5+ years’ in Mexico carrier sales, cross-border experience preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Ability to travel up to 50% - primary travel to Laredo
  • Ability to travel to and from Mexico when needed
  • Equipment to work remotely when not traveling to carrier appointments
  • Strong carrier rate negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Suite skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with rapid and everchanging priorities
  • High availability for internal and external customers – we are 24/7/365
