- User Research & Design Thinking:
- Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Utilize design thinking & various research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights.
- Wireframing and Prototyping:
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing to enhance usability and functionality.
- Interaction Design:
- Design intuitive and efficient interactions for web and mobile applications.
- Ensure consistency in interaction patterns and user interface elements across products
- Visual & Motion Design:
- Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with visual designers to create high-fidelity mockups and design assets.· Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
- Analyze usability test results and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Stay Updated:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in UX design principles and methodologies.
- 3 - 8 yrs of industry relevant experience post Bachelor's degree in Design/Human-Computer Interaction (HCI/HMI)/Computer Science/Electronics or related field.
- Proficiency in 2D design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, or similar
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools such as 3DSMax, Blender3D, Maya, Substance Painter, or similar
- Proficiency in 3D prototyping or rendering tools such as Unity3D, UnrealEngine, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Design/Human-Computer Interaction (HCI/HMI)/Computer Science/Electronics or related field
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects
- Experience with consulting in IT/Automotive/Healthcare/Industrial/Consumer Electronics domains
- Experience with designing for embedded & IoT devices/systems
- Proficiency in 2D design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, or similar
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools such as 3DSMax, Blender3D, Maya, Substance Painter, or similar
- Proficiency in 3D prototyping or rendering tools such as Unity3D, UnrealEngine, or similar
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with Agile development processes is preferred
- Strong proficiency in English
