- Design and produce engaging multimedia content for a variety of platforms including web, mobile, and social media.
- Edit video footage to create clear, engaging, and cohesive pieces that align with our brand and communication goals.
- Create high-quality static designs, including infographics, banners, and digital advertisements.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-impact visuals.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools, and proactively suggest improvements to increase the effectiveness of our visual communications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and other team members, ensuring best practices in both video and graphic design are followed.
- Maintain archive of images, photos, and previous work products for potential future use.
- Additional tasks as assigned
- New graphic/static design: 50%
- Video-editing: 50%
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in multimedia design, with substantial video editing and graphic design expertise.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of visual design work, including both video and static graphics.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Has worked in the GY Shift experience
- Able to work in any US Timezones (PST/CST/EST)
- Experience with Figma is a nice-to-have
- Previous leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage projects or teams.
- Experience in a corporate or agency environment.
- Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and how they impact design.
- Create new designs from scratch - creative briefs provided by the client
- Highly responsive
- Keen ability to context shift and move seamlessly b/w different projects
- Ability to manage timeline/priorities (especially when they change/shift)
- Proactive comms and ability to accept constructive feedback
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage files appropriately
