- Performs a variety of routine activities related to business and technical processes and systems.
- Gains awareness of GA-ASI's Flight Test and Training Center and how its operation generates value for its customers throughout the enterprise.
- Collaborates with managers, supervisors, and staff using analytical and technical skills in pursuit of completing and producing value-added service deliveries, procedures, tasks, and projects.
- Leverages data to promote practical solutions towards complex business problems, assisting in the formulation and development of new and better business and technical processes.
- Assists in the development and execution of methods for importing, cleaning, integrating and evaluating datasets from multiple disparate sources.
- Maintains and updates systems to maximize data integrity and accuracy, including frequent auditing of information entered and monitoring operations systems.
- Identifies issues and works with technical designers to implement new features.
- Assists in defining requirements and business cases for technology developments, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Consolidates unstructured data from a variety of diverse data sources.
- Collects, records, tracks, coordinates and reports on the progress of assignments. Performs simulations. Develops and deploys data visualizations as necessary.
- Analyzes data on business and technical processes, to generate actionable insights and solutions. Recommends process improvement as necessary.
- Verifies, and reconciles data to ensure integrity and accuracy of information, which includes analyzing data errors and identifying issues.
- Coordinates with business, flight operation and technology teams in determining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Participates in the development and implementation of new and modified business information processing systems as necessary.
- Maintains and updates a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and/or hard copy reports and records.
- Represents the functional area by responding to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources.
- Conducts literature reviews and cross-functional networking in search for best practices in a flight training environment.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Typically requires an Associates degree in a related field and two or more years of related experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate a general understanding of functional area principles, theories, and concepts.

- Desired Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, or higher, in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Have general aviation knowledge/experience (UAS specific experience would be extra brownie points)
- Previous experience adhering to safeguarding Company Intellectual Property and adhering to Export Control Compliance.
- Previous experience with data analysis and processing with data analysis tools (ex: R, Python, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, etc.), visualizations and report generation, and results presentation.
- Knowledge of formal flying training, flight operations, maintenance, large-group UAS operations.
