As a member of our large healthcare client's marketing team, the Sr. Consumer Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for managing the communications strategy to attract and activate consumers in pharmacy benefit features as well as in navigating changes to their pharmacy benefit coverage. This position will have direct involvement in designing, developing, and deploying marketing campaigns and benefit communications that reach consumers in our employer, government, and health plan markets. The primary focus of this role is on early consumer engagement, prior to plan effective dates.The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. He or she must be a self-starter with a passion for communicating in new ways and who thrives on finding creative solutions, seeking insights, and measuring results.Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and manage marketing programs focusing on building awareness and driving consumer engagement with their pharmacy benefits
  • Ensure alignment of member engagement strategy with overall client communications strategy
  • Develop consumer communications strategy that includes test strategies to maximize response
  • Develop and pilot new consumer engagement approaches and programs
  • Monitor results and modify strategy accordingly
  • Work with peers to integrate efforts and share best practices
  • Understand consumer mindset and barriers to adoption by leading and coordinating consumer research
  • Work with internal and external marketing and creative services to meet program objectives and develop multi-modal, integrated campaigns
  • Represent marketing and the consumer experience on cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage campaign budgets to support recommended strategies
  • Provide consulting/advice to internal business leaders to facilitate development of effective external communications (e.g., messaging, timing, branding, preference management and access)
  • Contribute to/create cost benefit analyses in support of campaign enhancements and growth
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in building consumer marketing/direct response marketing campaigns
  • 5+ years' experience with managing and prioritizing multiple deliverables.
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • 3+ years' experience in healthcare and/or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity; self-starter
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
  • Understanding of agile approach to developing and grooming backlogs
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or English
