We are recruiting a Solutions Architect for a large organization in Sacramento. This is long term contract role with a hybrid work schedule (2 days on site, 3 days remote). The Solutions Architect is responsible for maintaining BI Platforms in addition to designing and implementing solutions for operations and projects. Pay: $60/hour.The ideal candidate will have experience with strategic planning, technical management, and resource oversight, with a focus on ensuring the development of high-quality software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements and define solution delivery strategies.
  • Working closely with leadership to shape product direction and owning the technical product roadmap.
  • Developing and refining policies and procedures related to security and support operations.
  • Establishing engineering processes, SDLC processes, and operational processes to ensure reproducible and high-quality development.
  • Taking charge of overall architecture, design, build, security, and certification of products.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and managing escalated production issues.
  • Staying updated on emerging products, services, trends, and development methodologies.
  • Defining and managing SDLC and Continual Integration processes, suggesting and applying emerging technologies or standards to improve services.
  • Developing and executing engineering plans, managing schedules, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Ensuring effective deployment of skills and resources to enhance agility, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Promoting and enforcing compliance with established methodologies and resource management efforts.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with industry development languages and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of networking architecture, secure coding practices, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming, client/server, scripting, web architecture, and development.
  • Ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments with fluctuating workloads.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
