P-DPD-001We're in search of a Project Engineer (EIT) eager to join a dynamic small firm catering to clients of varying sizes. The ideal candidate should thrive in a versatile environment, taking charge of diverse projects from inception to completion.Responsibilities of the Project Engineer (EIT) include:
  • Crafting site development plans encompassing wastewater management, drainage, residential and commercial land development, environmental and coastal permitting, and dock design.
  • Generating comprehensive plans, reports, and other essential project documentation.
  • Close collaboration with regulatory agencies, clients, and sub-consultants to ensure project facilitation and completion.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to create grading plans, profiles, road designs, and intricate details.
  • Conducting thorough research on regulatory prerequisites and design standards.
  • Performing complex calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway enhancements.
  • Promoting seamless collaboration with drafters, designers, and administrative personnel to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
  • Working under the mentorship of Senior Professional Engineers (PE).
Qualifications for the Project Engineer (EIT) position include:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in local site development design, with a preference for candidates experienced in residential development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a preference for those skilled in HydroCAD.
  • Proficiency in land development and state regulations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Track record of effective client and town/state communications and interactions.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills, coupled with clear, concise, and professional communication abilities with architects, builders, and owners.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
