And as passionate as we are in our mission, we are as equally passionate about fostering a work environment that supports our employees’ own strengths and personal passions.Kalkomey is looking for a Contracts Administrator who will be our go-to for negotiating, administering, and maintaining contracts. In this role, you will leverage your legal and compliance mind to support all functions throughout the contract lifecycle, and build the contract administration function from the ground up. This will be a high impact role working with several of our business leaders and you will have the ability to establish process and implement the tools necessary to do great work and help the company.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement contract management workflows and processes, including a contract management system.
  • Ensure proper document administration including maintaining comprehensive file of contracts with key terms.
  • Maintain library of contract templates, coordinate with external counsel when necessary, and maintain a log of matters.
  • Support external audits that involve contracts (SOC, financial, other).
  • Perform periodic reviews of the contracts in place and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with People Operations, Accounting, Agency Relations, External Sales and IT teams to improve and execute contract processes.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the contracts.
  • Educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions laid in the contract.
  • Draft, negotiate, monitor and review contracts across business functions, including:
  • Vendor contracts with renewal cycles
  • Support sales team with customer contracts including state and provincial governments, RFPs, and business registrations
  • NDAs
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as a paralegal, contract administration, management or a related role
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiated contracts
  • Proven experience implementing and documenting process
  • Working knowledge of contract management systems and software
  • Commitment to organization, accuracy and keen eye for detail
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work with executive leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a similar discipline preferred
  • Certification or specialization in contract law preferred
