1. Technical Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide technical leadership in the development and implementation of Supply Chain, Quality and Medical Affairs analytics solutions, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Define and implement the Madrigal data strategy, including data acquisition, storage, processing, and analytics, to support business growth and innovation.
- Architect scalable and efficient data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms to support complex data analysis and machine learning workflows.
- Design and implement robust data models, algorithms, and visualizations to address critical business challenges and drive actionable insights.
- Lead the development and deployment of data products, advanced analytics models, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems in areas such as predictive analytics, optimization, and anomaly detection.
- Apply cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to extract valuable insights from large and diverse datasets, leveraging statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient analytics solutions.
- Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in analytics, data engineering, and machine learning domains, and apply them to solve complex business problems and drive innovation.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and methodologies for analytics engineering within the organization.
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing advanced analytics solutions in pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, , with expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- 8+ years of extensive experience on data manipulation, integration, writing complex queries and creating robust data products.
- 8+ years of solid experience implementing analytics using visualization/science tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku).
- Solid understanding of cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their application in building scalable and efficient analytics solutions; Microsoft Fabric experience is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
