- Driving and guiding initiatives on Running and Outdoor community in planning, execution and tracking of projects with specific emphasis on grassroots platforms to connect with our target consumers
- Providing deep-dive support on select SPOMA Community initiatives with value-added analysis
- Communicating with GCA SPOMA management regarding initiative progress, risks, and recommended future actions
- Coordinate and manage initiative development, planning and prioritization processes across Community RN & OD and cross functional stakeholders
- Engage with SPOMA leadership team & aChina senior management to identify priority initiatives and formulate key action plans to execute
- Drive and guide key objectives for the aligned priority initiatives, develop detailed plans and define & deliver against key KPIs
- Ensure project objectives are aligned with strategic direction of the organization
- Executes precisely the sports marketing strategy as it relates to the overall Marketing Plan
- Influence category and cross functional stakeholders to secure full engagement for each identified initiative
- Manage and guide the Community RN/OD strategic project initiatives life-cycle from start to finish
- Proactively recommend and align on additional support to be provided
- Work with all initiative stakeholders to build high quality and constructive project updates for SPOMA leadership and senior management review
- Act as liaison and communication bridge and the marketing cross functions to build alignment on initiative direction and priorities
- Proactively share best practices and escalate any potential issues, risks and new opportunities identified
- Manages the execution, monitoring and reporting of all programs/events around the previously identified initiatives
- Maximizes and follows the exact plan of the sports marketing budget according to the execution of the Marketing Plans/Sports Marketing strategy
- Develops the budgetary plan for identified SPOMA Community strategic initiatives
- Maximizes use of budget and ensures maximum return on financial investment
- Assumes responsibility for T&E budget
- Provide active process management and value-added analysis across the following as it relates to identified SPOMA Community strategic initiatives:
- New or custom process & program development
- Ad-hoc data analysis and insight to support negotiations and securing of partnerships
- Heavy cross-functional alignment and management
- Prepare regular updates to SPOMA leadership team (cross categories) on overall initiative progress
- Provide SPOMA leadership team & aChina senior management with objective perspective on progress, priorities and directions while managing their expectations
- Provide advice and feedback to key stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure high quality, timely execution
- Act as communication bridge across the SPOMA function to build alignment on initiative direction and priorities, and proactively escalate any potential issues, risks and new opportunities identified
- Provides strong leadership for horizontal as well as vertical reports
- Provides coaching & feedback to cross functional team members
- Generates a high level of teamwork between all Departments
- Other job-related work assigned by supervising manager

- Assure the successful implementation of grassroots events and programs
- Ensure our grassroots platforms provide measurable ROI value to “pull” sales
