The Opportunity:The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing digital marketing activities based on provided strategy for OptimaEd corporate, Optima Independent and Optima Academy Online. This includes but is not limited to website content updates and maintenance; dissemination of digital advertisements; overviewing paid search campaigns; social media posting, community management, and social content creation; dissemination of email and SMS campaigns; coordination with sales team on lead activations; analyzing owned and paid media data to identify action points.About the company:We create and provide educational experiences through traditional in-person learning, innovative virtual reality schools, and our exclusive VR-based student field trips and programs. Our goal is to develop innovative and effective tools and resources to better serve and advance the field of education and to make classical education available to every family.Essential Duties:
  • Manage WordPress sites for OptimaEd, Optima Foundation, Optima Academy Online and Optima Independent
  • Assist with management of, and support in content creation for social media accounts for OptimaEd brands.
  • Manage email and SMS dissemination and reporting.
  • Liaise with admissions team and manage marketing activations.
  • Measure Digital Traffic across paid and owned media channels.
  • Lead content updates for OptimaEd and Optima Academy Online’s blogs.
  • Research digital reach trends.
  • Conduct market research to inform campaigns.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • WordPress experience required
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search
  • SEO experience preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred
  • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail and have exceptional organization skills.
  • This person must have the ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks while portraying a positive attitude.
  • Florida or Atlanta, GA residency preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time position; however, this position can seasonally require longer hours and occasional weekend work.
