- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Art History, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a classical education setting.
- Knowledge of Art curriculum and the ability to implement it.
- Ability to interact collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and Administration.
- Dedication to lifelong learning and professional growth in the field of art education and classical studies.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Must pass drug test and Level 2 background check.

- Teach knowledge and skills in art to students utilizing the course of study prescribed by the approved curriculum.
- Teach students foundational skills in drawing, painting, and other traditional art forms using classical techniques and methods.
- Design projects that foster creativity and meet the students with varying intellectual abilities.
- Provide a variety of learning experiences so that students demonstrate skills and concepts learned through displays, portfolios, and a variety of mediums.
- Write lesson plans that meet the goals as set forth by Administration.
- Follow Policies and Procedures as set forth by Administration.
- Provide a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Participate in all school meetings, trainings, and orientations.
- Complete all in-service hours on time.
- Turn in all required paperwork on time.
- Cooperate in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-school activities.
- Maintain appropriate records for students.
- Establish and maintain standards for acceptable student behavior using appropriate techniques.
